Due to parental loss or family hardships, hundreds of children in Tanzania live in orphanage homes. They depend on the generosity of donors in their communities for their sustenance. In the last two years, however, the COVID pandemic has affected donor participation in their support to orphans in a very significant way—CAREUSTZ strives to rekindle the heart of good works in the donor community to support us in preparing a future for the affected children. Join us today to feed them, clothe them, and educate them by collaborating with CAREUSTZ in the noble cause!
On October 9, 2021, CAREUSTZ visited Watoto Wetu Tanzania (WWT), an orphanage home located in the outskirts of the City of Dar es Salaam. On this day, CAREUSTZ made a visit to distribute food items for the children and to learn about the ways CAREUSTZ could be helpful in addressing the needs of the children. WWT is a home to 69 children including 37 boys and 32 girls aged between 6 and 18 years. WWT has been affected by the pandemic in terms of support from both internal and external sources. Your support for the children will go a long way for their educational, nutritional, health care, and hygienic needs.
Symbolically, on the Independence Day for Tanzania, December 9, 2021, CAREUSTZ stepped in to support the children of WWT. With the kind generosity of its members, CAREUSTZ was able to provide bus fare for WWT children who attend school outside the center’s region. We are happy to have been able to provide a way for all 67 children to gather at their homes for the holidays. We wish them happiness as they come together to celebrate love, life, and the people who make it all possible through their kind hearts.
CAREUSTZ strives to create this type of empowerment among the populations it serves. Together we can empower the children through educational achievements.
The needs are many at the home. Kindly extend your hand to help. Let us together empower these children so they can become future leaders, innovators, entrepreneurs, and advocates for others. They can make a difference to their world and the community around them.
