Bowling Green, KY and its surrounding areas is a host to refugees and immigrants from over 30 nationalities with different religious beliefs, cultural heritage, and traditions. CAREUSTZ uses the diversity of the area to build a strong base of women who are empowered to be able to serve in different capacities in their community. The Women Empowerment Project brings women together for cooking and socializing sessions that are used to create an environment for learning in areas such as parenting, civics, creativity, healing, social and health services, and many more. Professionals in the community collaborate with CAREUSTZ to offer training in their areas. Your support will sustain the project as it will address many aspects of its success, including transportation, supplies, childcare, honorarium, materials, and other expenses.
